Cyclist Seriously Hurt in Crash on Lake Ave in Manchester, NH

Manchester, NH (September 2, 2026) – A young cyclist was seriously hurt Monday evening, August 31, when a vehicle struck the bicycle on Lake Avenue and Belmont Street.

The Manchester Police Department was called to the intersection around 6:38 p.m. where they found a 2007 Dodge Caliber driven by a 39-year-old Manchester man who was not hurt.

The accident left the young rider with serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

The Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit is working to determine what led to the crash.
