What Determines Fault After a DUI Accident in Manchester, NH?
In New Hampshire, fault after an impaired-driving case is typically established through breathalyzer or blood test results, police reports, and witness statements gathered along the roadway. This evidence, combined with New Hampshire’s comparative negligence law, determines how liability is divided among the parties involved.
People hurt in impaired-driving cases are left dealing with medical bills, missed work, and lasting physical pain. Some also face ongoing pain requiring physical therapy or specialist care long after initial treatment ends.
Insurance companies can try to minimize payouts in cases that involve alleged drunk driving, which is where a car accident lawyer can provide guidance on gathering evidence and calculating damages.
