Merrimack, NH – Three Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Incident on Wasserman Heights

Merrimack, NH (April 2, 2026) – Three people were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide incident at a residence on Wasserman Heights in Merrimack on Tuesday, March 31. Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of patients experiencing symptoms linked to carbon monoxide exposure.

Merrimack Fire responders arrived and found three individuals affected, including an 18-month-old child. Crews assessed the patients and began treatment at the scene before preparing them for transport to a nearby hospital.

Due to the seriousness of the situation, medical teams initially requested air transport services. However, those requests were declined because of weather conditions, and all three patients were taken by ambulance to Elliot Hospital for further care.

Officials have not released details about the condition of the individuals or what caused the carbon monoxide exposure. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
