School Bus Crash on Broadway Injures Students in Everett, MA

Everett, MA (May 23, 2026) – Several students received minor injuries on Thursday afternoon, May 21, after a school bus and a BMW collided near Broadway and Langdon Street in Everett. 

Video from the area showed shattered glass and debris scattered across the roadway as emergency units worked nearby.

Officials said 11 students from the Devens School were riding on the bus along with a driver and monitor. According to preliminary information, the bus was turning left onto Langdon Street when the oncoming BMW struck it.

Nine students were taken to a hospital for evaluation, and school leaders said the students were expected to recover.

A grandparent later said one child involved was doing well after the collision. The names and ages of the people involved have not been released so far.

Investigators are still reviewing what led up to the roadway impact near Broadway.
