Teen on E-Scooter Seriously Hurt in Crash on Atwood Rd in Pelham, NH

Pelham, NH (September 24, 2026) – A 16-year-old high school student riding an electric scooter was seriously injured on Wednesday, September 23, when a black Jeep Grand Cherokee struck them on Atwood Road. 

According to Pelham Police, the accident happened at around 7:15 a.m. 

The Jeep driver did not see the scooter because of “significant sun glare,” according to the investigation. The teen was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Jeep driver had no injuries.

Officials continue to investigate this accident.
