Two Children Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Harvard St in Manchester, NH

Manchester, NH (July 23, 2026) – On Wednesday afternoon, July 22, a vehicle struck and injured two children on Harvard Street in Manchester. 

Manchester Police say they received a call shortly after 4:20 p.m. reporting that a child had been struck near a home on the street. When emergency units arrived, they found that both a 7-year-old and an 8-year-old had been hit by the vehicle.

Neighbors said the street quickly filled with police cars and ambulances after the crash. “It was just chaotic,” said a neighbor, who added that the children had been playing outside moments earlier.

One child was taken to the hospital with a serious injury, while the other was treated for a minor injury. It remains unclear whether anyone will face charges in connection with the collision.
