Sedan, SUV & Pickup Truck Crash on I-93 in Tilton, NH

Tilton, NH (June 23, 2026) – One person was seriously hurt on Sunday afternoon, June 21, after a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 93 southbound near mile marker 58. Emergency units arrived at 2:26 p.m. and found three vehicles involved in the southbound lanes.
A Ford Focus driven by 76-year-old Dinah Tague of Kissimmee, Florida was traveling south when it struck a Toyota 4Runner. The driver of the Toyota lost control, left the roadway, and entered a wooded stretch where the vehicle sustained heavy damage. A falling tree came down on the Toyota and trapped the driver inside.
The Ford Focus continued forward and struck the rear of a Dodge Ram 1500 before leaving the roadway and entering a wooded area. The Toyota driver was later removed from the vehicle and taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford Focus was issued a summons for multiple alleged traffic violations, including speeding and following too closely. One southbound lane remained closed for about an hour and a half while emergency units worked in the area.
The investigation remains ongoing as additional details are reviewed.
We are thinking of the injured victim and hoping for a steady recovery.
